Description
He'd gone wandering from his friends that day, one dirty urchin among
hundreds, never missed. Parchment stuffed in his coat, pen in his
hand, dreams in his head of performing for the Queen ... but nary a
seed or an inspiration, no wonder to delight the mind as much as that
darting light before him delighted the eye, leading him through the
shadow of the great oaks to a cleared path cobbled with shining
stones. He'd grown up by these woods and he'd never seen a path there
before.
As he walked he heard the sounds of lords and ladies making merry, and
he grew afraid. But something drove him onward, to climb through the
thickets and spy upon the gathering there.
"The Bard of Avalon" depicts an uncannily familiar dance of marriages
and betrayals among the Faerie Courts and contains plotlines from ALL of Shakespeare's plays. The game is recommended for players teenage and older. Familiarity with the source material is useful but not required.
